Micrurus is a genus of venomous coral snakes of the family Elapidae. Species in the genus Micrurus are endemic to the Americas. The following 81 species are recognized as being valid. Nota bene: A binomial authority in parentheses indicates that the species was originally described in a genus other than Micrurus. All species of Micrurus are oviparous (egg-laying).
