GUANTANAMO BAY: VIOLATIONS OF HUMAN RIGHTS IN USE OF INTERROGATION TECHNIQUES

There are many issues of human rights and international law relating to terrorism and in the name of “war on Terror” of United States. There is a debatable issue for defending the indefensible torturetechniques and the impacts of tortureand detentionswith special concern of Guantanamo Bay. The Convention Against tortureratified by more than 147 countries including United States requires ending tortureand violations of human rights at national and international level both. The research would be analysis to identify the implementation and justificationsof United Statesfor using tortureas an interrogation technique for the security of their country, whether it is a useful method or not?
