Uterine factor infertility is a relatively uncommon cause of female infertility occurring in <5% of women. Multiple uterine factors have been implicated in reproductive failure (due to infertility or recurrent pregnancy loss) including congenital disorders and acquired lesions. A thorough evaluation and treatment of all other causes of infertility must be undertaken even when uterine factors are diagnosed.
