ANALISIS KESIAPAN INDUSTRI TELEVISI MENUJU PENYIARAN TELEVISI DIGITAL DI MASA PANDEMI COVID 19 (STUDI KASUS TV LOKAL PROVINSI BENGKULU)

This research wants to find out how the readiness of the television industry in Indonesia towards digital television broadcasting during Covid-19 Pandemic. There are 1056 private broadcasting institutions (LPS), most of which still has analog television status. So far, LPS, especially in the regions, have not been prepared. The condition of the Covid-19 pandemic has caused the business world, including television industry to experience a VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) condition, which did decrease income, cancellation of cooperation programs and advertisements by the Regional Government and business partners. So far, RBTV and BETV are aware of the policy of analog to digital television migration. However, so far, there has not been any preparations for migration. However, if the government continues to implement migration, RBTV and BETV are ready to follow. However, the two companies hope that the government will reduce the rental fee, make it free or barter with the mandatory relay program from the government.
