Individual Trajectories in an Electromagnetic Field

Abstract: We have seen that the knowledge of the individual trajectories of particles is a fundamental link in the study of the self-consistent system called plasma. Before any statistical study, let us begin by specifying what these trajectories are in the presence of given magnetic and electric fields. This study constitutes the first step to describe the magnetized plasmas. Then, we can try to close the system and to calculate how the knowledge of all the particle trajectories can determine the fields themselves. Here, we will consider trajectories without collision.
