La agenda de los ODS y su medición desde un enfoque integral. El caso de Tierra del Fuego

2019
This article aims to collect the agenda of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and their measurement for the province of Tierra del Fuego. The SDG are a proposal made by the member countries of the United Nations in 2015 as a successor to the Millennium Goals (MDG) of 2000. This new agenda is established in 17 objectives and 169 national goals. This implies a great complexity for its measurement at local and subnational levels. In this sense, the work intends to relate the SDG with the indicators and dynamics determined in the province. For this, the work makes a first approach and presentation of the SDG, then reviews the information systems that will account for the concept of sustainable development at national and sub-national levels, and finally we will establish a first relationship of the indicators already established in previous works with the 17 SDG and their goals. In this scheme we will review the tensions and conceptual gaps existing in national and international agendas and their complexity in measurement. This last point takes special relevance in the relationship that the agendas receive in the preparation, measurement and monitoring of public policies at national and local level, particularly in the case of the province of Tierra del Fuego.
