Review of trends on ICT convergence in electric industry

This study collects reports related to the future electric power industry, analyzes the text data of the report, and reviews key issues related to ICTconvergence by a period. As a result, ICTconvergence discussions have been ongoing, but discussions on the types, functions, and utilization of ICTsare more specific than the effects provided by ICTsin recent years. ICTsare becoming increasingly widespread in the electric power industry, with energy use efficiency in the late 2000s, renewable energy management in the early 2010s, and more recently (2016∼2017) as an important means of managing and spreading distributed resources including energy storages. This study introduces an efficient and effective method of understanding how the focus of the discussion on the electric power industrychanges.
