STUDIES ON CONSTITUENTS OF MARSDENIA TENACISSIMA

Eight compounds were isolated from the stem of Marsdenia tenacissima.Their struetures were identified on the basis of chemical and spectrel evidences as germanicol its S-acetate and einnamate,cycloeucalenol.IIa-O-tigloyl-12β-O-acetyltenucigenin Bβ-sitosterol,suceinie acid,conduritol,and dihydroconduritol.Both S-O-cennamoyl germanicol and IIa-O-tigloyl-12β-O-acetyl tenacigenin B are both new compounds.
