Robotic-Assisted Laparoscopic Partial Nephrectomy in a Renal Transplant

Abstract Renal transplant recipients are at greater risk for malignancy than the general population. Historical management of renal cell carcinoma in a renal allograft has been open radical nephrectomy, but over time, graft-preserving and minimally-invasive techniques have been described. We present, in video format, our technique for robotic-assisted laparoscopic partial nephrectomy in a transplanted kidney.
