Brief Summary and Perspectives for CTCs

The analysis of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) is an important tool to provide information on the biology of solid cancers and disease monitoring. In this chapter, we intend to support that CTC analysis can involve heterogeneity and what is biologically emanated by the tumor. With technological help, unlocking the biological secrets of CTC population can stimulate the development of oncology and more alternatives and tests for treatment.
