Correlations in the dp. -->. ppn reaction at small momentum transfers

It is shown that the strong correlation between the disintegration and quasielastic-scatteringplanes in the direct deuteron breakupreaction dp..-->..ppn at small momentum transferscan be qualitatively explained within the limitations of the impulse approximation. (AIP)
