Parametric amplification of a superconducting plasma wave

Josephson plasma waves — electromagnetic waves propagatingbetween layered superconductors — lie at the basis of a broad variety of phenomena. Now, parametric amplification of such waves has been shown by tuning the phase between pump and seed waves.
