Diffractive dissociation of protons on protons at very small momentum transfers and at energies 50--400 GeV

The differential cross sections d/sup 2/sigma/dtdM/sup 2//sub X/ are measured for the inclusive reaction pp..-->..Xp at the incident proton momenta 50--400 GeV/c in the kinematical intervals 0.001< or =vertical-bar t vertical-bar< or =0.017 (GeV/c)/sup 2/ and 1.2< or =M/sup 2//sub X/< or =8.0 GeV/sup 2/. A table of the differential cross sections d/sup 2/sigma/dtdM/sup 2//sub X/ as a function of the variables t and M/sup 2//sub X/ is presented. The differential cross section is described by the formula: d/sup 2/sigma/dtdM/sup 2//sub X/(s,t,M/sup 2//sub X/)1+=(C-italic/s)A (M/sup 2//sub X/)exp(b(M/sup 2//sub X/)(t+0.01)).
