Observing the ultrafast buildup of a Fano resonance in the time domain

First experimental observation of the time-dependent build-up of an asymmetric Fano resonance achieved by using a tunable temporal gate to interupt the autoionization process of a correlated 2-electron excited state in He with a strong laser field.
