A Novel 5.8GHz Harmonic-suppressed Rectenna for Wireless Power Transmission

2021
This paper introduces a new 5.8GHz rectenna for wireless power transmission. A circular polarized slot antenna with simple structure is proposed. The harmonic suppression function is realized by loading slots on the floor of microstrip antenna. The RF energy is matched by the microstrip single branch short transversal impedance circuit. The voltage doubling rectifier circuit composed of Schottky diodes is converted into direct current signal, and the direct filter is used to filter the fundamental frequency and high order of the signal harmonics, to produce a stable DC voltage. The simulation results show that when the input power is 11 dBm and the load resistance is $1400\Omega$ , the rectification efficiency can reach 73.3%
