Purpose Nitazoxanidewas recently reported as having in vitro effectiveness against the rubella virus. Immunodeficiency-related vaccine-derived rubellaoccurs in some patients who have an inherited immunodeficiencyand who received the MMR vaccine. This study investigated the in vivo effectiveness of nitazoxanidetherapy.
