Experimental Study on the Relation Between EDTA Consumption and Cement Content of Cement Mixing Pile
2018
To investigate the applicability that using EDTA (Ethylene Diamine Tetraacetic Acid) titration detects the
cement
contentof
cementmixing pile, a series of laboratory EDTA consumption tests under the condition of different curing ages and different
cement
contentdistributions are performed. The results indicate that the relationship between the
cement
contentdistribution and EDTA consumption approximate linear when
cement
contentis low (less than 10%). The curve between EDTA consumption and
cement
contentpresents nonlinear characteristic when the increasing rate of EDTA consumption reduces gradually with the increasing of
cement
content. Hyperbolic fitting effect is perfect according to the correlation analysis between the
cement
contentof
cementmixing pile and EDTA consumption. The
standard curvecan be obtained from the linear relationship between the reciprocal of the
cement
contentand the reciprocal of EDTA consumption, which is applied to actual test on site.
