Research Note: Morphology of a Putative Secretory Cell in the Bursa of Fabricius of the Starling (Sturnus vulgaris)

1987
Abstract In this report, we identify in the medulla of the starling’s bursa, a cell that resembles the secretory cell previously revealed in the bursa of the chicken. The secretory cell possessed prominent cytoplasm, internal granules, a ruffled surface, and a medium dense substance on the cell surface.
