Research progress of Agrin in tumour immune microenvironment

Metastasis, invasion and immune escape are major biological characteristics of cancers.The aggregated protein Agrin promotes metastasis and invasion of cancer by interacting with low density lipoprotein receptor related protein 4(Lrp4). Agrin also improves T-cell immune response and stabilizing immune synapses via α-dystroglycan.Which indicates that Agrin plays an important roles in tumour immune microenvironment.Further studies of the underlying mechanisms of Agrin modulation in cancer and immune cells may provide new insights for cancer immunotherapy.In this paper, we reviewed and summarized the research progress of Agrin, especially in cancers and immune system.
