Preparation and Identification of Monoclonal Antibodies of Metalloprotease of Vibrio anguillarum

A 36.5kDa metalloprotease was purified from the extracellular products(ECP) of Vibrio anguillarum M3, and used to immunize ALB/C mouse. Three monoclonal antibodies(MAbs), P2B1, P4A3 and P4B1, against the purified metalloprotease have been obtained and analyzed by Immuno-Western-Blot. The result showed that all of the three MAbs only reacted with the 36.5kDa metalloprotease and neutratized its activity. Their isotypes were all characterized as IgG3. These data indicated that the MAbs could be useful tools to study the function of metalloprotease in the Vibrio anguillarum M3 infection.
