Measurement of the decay rate of Ξc 0→pK -K-π+ relative to Ξc 0→Ξ-π+

Using the CLEOIII detector at CESR, we have measured the branching ratio of the decay Xic0 to pK-K- pi+ relative to Xic0 to Xi- pi+. We find B(Xic0 to pK-K- pi+)/B(Xic0 to Xi- pi+)= 0.35+/-$0.08( stat)+/-0.05(syst). In the resonant substructure of this mode, we find evidence for Xi_c0 decays to p K*(890)K-, and measure B(Xic0 to p K*(890) K^-).B(K*(890) to K- pi+) /B(Xic0 to Xi- pi+)=0.14+/-0.04( stat)+/-0.02(syst) and B(Xic0 to pK-K- pi+)/B(Xic0 to Xi- pi+)=0.21+/-0.05( stat)+/-0.03(syst) for the non-resonant Xic0 decays pK-K- pi+ decays.
