In recent years, demand for LNG bunkering vessels and LNG fueled vessels is increasing as a solution for satisfying IMO’s emission control requirements. The use of LNG as fuel instead of heavy fuel oil enables merchant vessels to reduce the amount of emission of NOx, SOx and GHG considerably.
