Dynamic Characteristics Analysis of Nanjing Xiaolongwan River Bridge

Taking Nanjing Xiaolongwan River Bridge as an example,this paper studies the influence of structural parameters on its dynamic characteristics based on the spatial finite element model of reasonable bridge state of self- anchoredsuspension bridges.This model is then compared with that of earth anchoredsuspension bridge of the same structural parameters.The results show that the vibration frequency of self- anchoredsuspension bridge is lower than that of earth anchoredsuspension bridge,since the stiffness of the structural system is reduced by lesser extent of displacement constraints on the top of the tower and the horizontal component from main cable of the main beam;besides,the low-level frequency of the structure is significantly influenced by dead load,the stiffening girder vertical stiffness and the stiffness of the main cables.The results can be used in similar structure dynamiccharacteristics analysis.
