Viscoplastic squeeze flow between two identical infinite circular cylinders

The interstitial squeeze flow between two approaching circular cylinders in a viscoplastic medium is studied numerically and semi-analytically. Yield stress effects external to the gap---not picked up by viscoplastic lubrication theory---are found to significantly affect the lubrication pressure.
