Collaborative Research in University of Agricultural Science, Dharwad, Karnataka, India

Based on a study of 357 scientific publications of research fraternity of University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad published and indexed in Google Scholar and CABI Abstracts during 2017, finds that a majority of publications were the result of team research.  It also identifies that collaboration within the same departments is more predominant among collaborated publications and very few individuals have international collaborated articles.  It is recommended to encourage collaborations with national and international institutions. Further, it is also required to define what team research is and draft guidelines for collaborative research to encourage collaborative research.
