Influence of Optical Rectification on Terahertz Generation from Plasma Induced by Two-color Pulses

The influence of optical rectification on terahertz radiation driven by two-color laser pulses has been determined quantitatively, by the crucial factors including the BBO crystal rotation angle, the pump power, and the numerical aperture of the focusing lens. The experimental and simulation results show that the above factors have dramatically affected the intensity ratio of the THz waves from the plasma and BBO crystal. It renews the understanding of the THz wave generation from two-color-plasma.
