Probes of ubiquitin E3 ligases enable systematic dissection of parkin activation

Probes of E3 ligase transthiolation activity reveal the hierarchy of phosphorylation events leading to cellular parkinactivation and show that disease-linked parkinmutants have impaired transthiolation activity.
