Guideline 2. Etiologic diagnosis of heart insufficiency. Identification and treatment of reversible causes

The clinical picture suggesting the etiologic diagnosis at the initial evaluation is described as well as the criteria and the diagnostic testsrecommended to arrive to the definite diagnosis. Special emphasis is placed on the diagnosis of the reversible factors that may benefit from specific treatment.
