2016 
The annual meeting of the Southeastern Section of the Mathematical Association of America was held at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, S. C., on Friday and Saturday, April 18-19, 1947. Professor Ruth W. Stokes, Chairman of the Section, presided at the Friday afternoon and Saturday morning meetings, and Professor W. L. Williams presided on Friday evening at the informal dinner given in honor of the visiting speaker, Professor L. M. Graves. Cell, North Carolina State College; Vice-Chairman, L. A. Dye, The Citadel; Secretary-Treasurer, H. A. Robinson, Agnes Scott College. The Section voted to hold its 1948 meeting at The Citadel. The program consisted of the following papers: 1. Generalized differential operators, by Professor L. V. Robinson, University of South Carolina.
