High precision physics at future
collidersrequires unprecedented highly granular
calorimetersfor the application of the Particle Flow (PF) algorithm. The physical
proofof
conceptwas given in the previous campaign of beam tests of physic prototypes within the
CALICEcollaboration. We present here the latest beam and laboratory test results and R&D developments for the Silicon-Tungsten Electromagnetic
Calorimetertechnological prototype with fully embedded very front-end (VFE) electronics for the International Large Detector at the
International Linear Colliderproject.
