A Review on Electrical and Mechanical Technologies Used in Spray Painting Robots

Since the last decade, human efforts have replaced manual works in terms of automatic (robotic) solutions dramatically for safety and precision purposes. Present review highlights the various robotic technologies used for solving the need to paint any surface. Many advancements in the sphere of painting robots have been discovered and utilized for high rise buildings painting, wall painting, and other surface painting. Still, there is a need to increase the effectiveness, precision, durability, and reliability in such automatic techniques [1]. In this regards, the present review accumulates the various aspects of recent automatic techniques, working methodologies, and innovative technologies used in the spray painting robots by considering the various mechanical and electrical components. These databases can significantly assist the researchers who are looking for this solution or working on the mentioned application. In addition, present review also discusses about a few technologies for environment friendly and economically effective options in spray painting.
