Underground constructions and deep excavations below the groundwater table often bear technical and financial risks. Failures in the sealing system can cause severe damages. Texplor has developed and patented accurate and reliable measuring and monitoring devices for the quality controlof various sealing systems. These devices use electrical conductivity of liquids to identify weakness zones of sealing constructions. Quality Controlof sealing systems can be carried out either as single investigations at a given time or as a continuous monitoringwith automated leak alarm functions. The non-corrodible sensors for the MSS® Permanent Leak Monitoring System are specially developed for PE liners and have a certified lifetime of 100 years.
