Approach to Abnormal Liver Blood Tests

This script teaches the interpretation of liver tests, including a structure to help learners understand which tests reflect liver injury versus liver dysfunction. The teaching script includes a discussion of the differential diagnosis for the two primary patterns of abnormal liver tests, hepatocellular injury and cholestatic injury, as well as principles to guide the further evaluation of liver blood test abnormalities.
