Diarylheptanoids from the root of Curcuma aromatica and their antioxidative effects

Abstract Four rare diarylheptanoidscontaining tetrahydropyranmoieties ( 1–4 ) and five known diarylheptanoids( 6–10 ) were isolated from the n -BuOH fraction of 75% ethanol extract from the root of Curcuma aromatica, along with a new phenol ( 5 ). Their planar and stereochemical structures were established using HRESIMS and spectroscopic methods, including ECD data.
