Tutorización entre iguales: una nueva propuesta de la Escuela Politécnica Superior de Jaén

espanolUno de los principales cambios metodologicos producidos en el contexto universitario moderno ha sido la introduccion de planes de accion tutorial (PAT). El principal objetivo de la tutoria universitaria es asesorar a los estudiantes en aspectos academicos, personales y profesionales. La Escuela Politecnica Superior de Jaen (EPS de Jaen), centro de la Universidad de Jaen, fomenta la accion tutorial ofreciendo un servicio a todos sus estudiantes mediante el cual profesores tutores y estudiantes-mentores orientan y asesoran a quienes voluntariamente desean ser tutorizados, ayudandoles en su integracion en el contexto universitario y academico, asi como en diversos aspectos relacionados con sus estudios y su futuro profesional. Ademas, se realizan a lo largo del curso actividades grupales formativas para mentores y estudiantes tutorizados (charlas, talleres o reuniones). EnglishOne methodological change in the university context had been the introduction of tutorial plans as one of its essential pillars. From the Jaen School of Engineering the tutorial action is encouraged and offered as a service to all the students who wish to participate in it voluntarily. This mentoring program is the general framework in which the teachers-tutors and student-mentors conduct an orientation to the supported students and advise them, help in their integration in the academic context and in their degrees as well as in various aspects related to their studies and future careers. Several formative group activities are organized throughout the course in the form of talks, workshops, etc.
