Mass spectrometric critical assessment of thermodynamic data for UO3(g)

Abstract This paper is devoted to the analysis of all the recently published Mass Spectrometry works concerned by a very large discrepancy in the thermodynamic data of the UO 3 (g) gaseous species. This work analyzes the mass spectrometric and chemical conditions in performing these recent measurements in light of the previous compilation by Younes [4] , [5] , [6] . Finally, the UO 3 (g) dissociation energy selected remains the Younes compiled value, D ° 0 (UO 3 (g))=2102.5±14.6 kJ mol −1 .
