The management of arteriovenous fistula for dialysis patients
2014
Abstract A well-functioning vascular access is a basic requirement for a good dialysis treatment. Among the vascular accesses, the Artero-venous fistula (FAV) with native vessels is preferred for increasing survival rate, reducing risk of infection and with fewer complications. This review examines some aspects concerning the preparation and the surveillance of AVF.
