Cavity-Backed SIW Antenna With X Shaped Slot for Satellite Communication Frequency Band

The proposed manuscript demonstrates designs and analyzes the frequency band response of cavity backed substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) antenna. Single X shaped slot is used to achieve the satellite communication frequency band. The designed antenna resonates at satellite communication frequency band of 11.2 GHz with a gain of 2.7 dBi.
