Noninvasive Quantification of Airway Inflammation Following Segmental Allergen Challenge with Functional MR Imaging: A Proof of Concept Study

The data of the present study show that MR imaging–derived oxygen transfer function and volume over threshold can monitor noninvasively local allergen response in the lung tissue of volunteers with asthma following segmental allergen challenge.
