Maturity recognition of citrus fruits by Yolov4 neural network

In order to fulfill the market requirements of a well- known citrus market, this paper uses artificial neural network technology to identify the maturity of the citrus fruits, especially the citrus fruits in Xinhui, China. The proposed method has the characteristics of non-contact, low cost, easy implementation and good performance, which can be effectively used in remote monitoring. Also, the AI recognized maturity is practically significant to agricultural production in the recording of citrus growth and forecasting of market sales.
