Clinical effect of small incision extracapsular cataract extraction combined with intraocular lens implantation on lymphatic glaucoma

2018
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of small incision extracapsular cataract extraction combined with intraocular lens implantation on patients with crystalline dissolve glaucoma. Methods A total of 120 cases (120 eyes) with lymphatic glaucoma were selected as the research objects, and were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated by phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation, and the patients in the observation group were treated by small incision extracapsular cataract extraction combined with intraocular lens implantation. The clinical effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate in the observation group (90.00%) was significantly better than that in the control group (65.00%). The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group (15.00%) was significantly lower than that in the control group (40.00%), the difference between the two groups was significant (P<0.05). Conclusions The effect of small incision extracapsular cataract extraction combined with intraocular lens implantation on lens-dissolving glaucoma is good, which can significantly improve the visual acuity and make the whole course of treatment more safe, and is worthy to be popularized in clinical application. Key words: Lens-dissolved glaucoma; Small incision extracapsular cataract extraction; Intraocular lens implantation; Clinical effect
