SPATIAL DISPROPORTIONS IN THE ASSESSMENT OF THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT AND ECOLOGY RURAL COMMUNES OF EASTERN POLAND IN 2009-2018

The area of communal competitiveness is directly related to the problem of managing natural environment resources. The presence of resources and values of the natural environment does not guarantee the development of a commune or increase its competitiveness. The aim of the article is to assess the spatial diversity of the natural environment and the ecology of rural communes with the use of a synthetic measure. The analyzes were carried out in the spatial system of 484 rural communes of Eastern Poland voivodeships (Podkarpackie, Świetokrzyskie, Lubelskie, Podlaskie, Warminsko-Mazurskie).
