Optical Design of a Spatial-Spectral Fourier Transform Interferometer for the Far-infrared

A spatial-spectral Fourier transform interferometer provides enhanced spatial resolution while preserving spectral information over a broad bandwidth. We present the optical design of a laboratory based test-bed instrument for the far-infrared.
