Investigation into Electrical Conductivity and Electromagnetic Interference Shielding Performance of Ag/TPU Hybrids Filled with Various Silver Fillers

The flourishing development of 5th generation (5G) telecommunication and miniaturization of the smart devices has been upgrading our living life while also generating severe electromagnetic interference (EMI). The development of spray coating ink with high EMI shielding performance is urgently needed. An Ag/TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) ink with a silver content of about 58 wt.% is presented for highperformance EMI shielding. The impact of filler content, size, and morphology has been discussed. We find that the flakes-like Ag filler should show a higher EMI shielding performance.
