Elevated levels of Bcl-3 inhibits Treg development and function resulting in spontaneous colitis

Bcl-3 modulates effector T cell responses, but the importance of Bcl-3 in T regulatory cellsand autoimmunity is not clear. Here the authors show that Bcl-3 impedes NF-κB DNA binding to alter T regulatory celldevelopment and function, causing spontaneous colitis in mice.
