The Aegean Sea, is one of the most seismically active areas of the Eastern Mediterranean region (Fig. 1). Generally, North Aegean Sea region has been tectonically developed after the collision of Arabian plate with the Eurasian in the Late Miocenetime and the subsequent westward escape of the Anatolian Plate relative to the Eurasian Plate, during the Early Pliocene.
