Protracted course of disseminated adenovirus disease with necrotizing granulomas in the liver

Abstract A 52- year-old male with chronic lymphocytic leukemiawas hospitalized with disseminated adenovirus disease. More than a month following recovery, hepatic necrotizing granulomassecondary to adenovirus were found. This case illustrates the protracted course that adenovirus disease may take and emphasizes an unusual presentation with hepatic necrotizing granulomas.
