Inventario fúngico asociado a las semillas de cultivares de cardo (Cynara cardunculus L.)

Fungal population in a total of 54 samples of thistleseeds harvested between 199293 and 1997-98 seasons were examined, 10 samples belonged to the Servicio de Investigacion Agraria (Badajoz), and 44 samples of the Department of Botanyof the Escuela Tecnica Superior de Ingenieros Agronomos (Madrid). The presence of the different species varied based on the localities and the years of harvest. Among the fungal genus isolated we can find a great amount of common saprophytes as: Penicillium, Alternaria, Rhizopusand Cladosporium, according to their potential pathogenicity we have to emphasize species of the genus Fusarium or Aspergillus.
