his paper, provide survey of the proposed namespacemanagement schemes for file system. Namespacemanagement can be used to reduce exhaustive search over all directories. Namespaceusing semantic correlation can also increase search ability. File system namespaceas an information organizinginfrastructure is a help to improve system's quality of service such as performance, scalability, and ease of use.
