Electronics for the Magnetic Spectrometer of the SVD Setup

Data-readout electronics for a wide-aperture magnetic spectrometer is described. The magnetic spectrometer is based on 1- and 1.5-m-wide proportional chambers with ∼18 000 signal wires. The structure of the system, the data-readout algorithms, and the measured characteristics are discussed.
